The combination of fresh, local ingredients, plus a little sugar and spice always equals a sensational treat. The changes in season bring different fruit, each with its own inspiration. We love using our apple peeler/corer each autumn and our cherry pitter each summer. You know what time of year it is by looking in our ovens. Sure we could get ingredients shipped from halfway around the world all year long, but after you taste our strawberry rhubarb pie in the spring, blueberry scones in the summer, pear almond tart in the fall, or apple pie in the winter, you’ll understand why we don’t.
